Traveling is my favorite pastime. From the time I graduated high school, my thoughts were consumed with visiting every country in the world. While attending college, I worked part-time to save money just to travel each summer. My travels have taken me to many local and foreign lands, each which have inspired me in an unique way. Being a French major in college taught me the importance of acculturation when traveling. I have the heighest respect for the people and cultures I experience. I enjoy learning about the history, language and people before I debark. This not only helps me understand the locale but has allowed me to have deep and meaningful encounters on my travels. I currently write for several online travel sites and have had articles featured in print.
